π§Έ ToyAI β Stylized Character Generation via SDXL Fine-Tuning
Overview
ToyAI is a generative AI system that transforms user-provided images into stylized, animated toy-like characters inspired by 3D animated films. Built on top ofsdxl
, we fine-tune SDXL models to produce unique, high-quality renderings of human faces, pets, and objects in a playful, character-driven style.
The goal is to create a fast, scalable way for anyone to generate digital toy versions of themselves and othersβwith applications across avatars, memes, NFTs, merch, and more.
β¨ Core Features
Custom-trained SDXL models on stylized "toy world" aesthetics
Fast transformation: Upload a photo, receive a character render within seconds
Style modules: Different animation-inspired looks (e.g., Pixar-like, claymation, low-poly, etc.)
Fine-tuned from just a few reference images (LoRA-style training)
Run on high-performance GPUs (NVIDIA L40S) for fast, high-res output
π¬ Technical Architecture
Base Technology
Model:
sdxl
Platform: Replicate for training and deployment
Training Hardware: NVIDIA L40S GPU +
GPU Cost: $0.000975 per second
Training Process
We train SDXL on a particular object or visual style using as few as 5β10 images.
Training takes ~10β15 minutes per style variant.
Each training run produces a new, style-locked model tailored to a specific aesthetic.
Model Deployment

Web UI for users (in development)
π¨ Example Use Cases
Social media avatars
Personalized NFT characters
Animated profile pictures and memes
Merchandise-ready toy designs
